Il Casale delle Rose, found in the Veneto area, near the wealthy town of Lendinara, in the Province of Rovigo, is an ideal base for day trips to the Delta del Po, Euganei Hills (thermal baths and wine tasting), the villas of Palladio and Cities of Art such as Ferrara, Bologna, Venice, Verona, Mantova, Montagnana and Padua, all reachable in less than 75 minutes by car or train. Even the small town of Lendinara, is a delightful town to visit.

How to reach us

• By car from Venice-Padua:
  Take the A4 motorway, direction Milan. After a few km, there is a fork in the road, take the A13 Padova-Rovigo. Leave at the exit for Rovigo. Turn right onto the Strada Regional 88 ('Polesana') towards Lendinara and Badia Polesine. The first large town you meet is Lendinara, which is about 10km from the motorway exit. After the road sign which welcomes you to Lendinara, turn left onto Via Giacomo Matteotti, which is after the Total petrol station and just before the Agip one. Go along Via Giacomo Matteotti until you reach a roundabout, turn left onto Largo Carducci. Follow the road over the bridge across the Adigetto and to the end of the road Via Carlo Alberto della Chiesa (you’ll see on your right the sports centre and the barracks for the Carabinieri). At the stop sign, turn right along the Via della Pace. At the stop sign turn left, along the Via Valli. Carry on across the level crossing. After 800 metres, turn left into a Cul del Sac. At the end of the road, you have arrived! An automatic wrought iron gate with deep red tiles indicates the start of the private road which leads to the house.
• By car from Bologna:
  Take the A13 motorway towards Venice and exit at Villa Marzana. After the exit, take the Transpolesana (SS434) towards Verona. After 10km, exit the Transpolesana following signs to Lendinara and take the SP17 (Via Valli) for 4.5km. After a turn on the right (watch out for the speed camera!) continue for about 800 metres and turn right into a Cul del Sac. At the end of the road, you have arrived! An automatic wrought iron gate with deep red tiles indicates the start of the private road which leads to the house.
• By car from Milan-Verona:
  From the A4 Milano-Venezia motorway, take the exit Verona Sud and follow the directions to Rovigo until you reach the Transpolesana (SS434). Carry on along the Transpolesana for about 60km and exit at Lendinara. Take the SP17 (Via Valli) for 4-5km. After a turn on the right (watch out for the speed camera!) continue for about 800 metres and turn right into a Cul del Sac. At the end of the road, you have arrived! • By Train:
  The closest stations are Lendinara and Rovigo (2 and 18km respectively from the Bed and Breakfast). There are quite a few trains per day between Lendinara and Rovigo and there are frequent trains from Rovigo to Bologna, Padua and Venice. You can check the time tables and buy your tickets online on the following website Ferrovie dello Stato. When you get to the station at Lendinara, please let us know and we will arrange transport to bring you to the bed and breakfast.
